I have been thinking about spending AGAIN. Still considering of getting a good and reasonable price of a camera.
My current Pentax Optio A10 which has served me about 2 1/2yrs has showing signs of 'Bye Bye' to me. It still functional, just that the batt can't fully recharge either using the direct or indirect charger and the batt clip has been broken.
It was quite frusfrating as I need to charge the batt quite frequent in order to have a full bar of batt. Even though I have a full bar, that doesn't mean my batt last very long.
My next aim is to get a DLSR1 camera - those bulky & mostly black in colour. Been searching for awhile for any good brands. But it does not come cheap. A minimum of RM2K which I need to pay. I have one in my mind now, Canon E450 at minimum price of RM3K. Sigh!!
Do I really need a 'hi-tech' camera or just a normal Digital cam? Sigh... this are the Q that always stop me from buying.

If you have any frens (or pig & dog frens) working/selling on camera Pls let me know. I'm really on a tight budget. Maybe I can consider second-hand camera too!

this current 1 still can snap good pic.. v clear n sharp on still object. wat bout moving object? got anti-handshake?
i also think of changing but those pro camera >2k. i have to slow slow wait.. hope can get bonus this yr end :p
Your move to upgrade to dSLR is a wise choice. Put money matter aside as money can earn back. But if you go back to a pns and decided to upgrade, that will cost you more money incurred. I'm currently using CAnon 400D. Market price now should be around RM2.5k or less.
LT - Sigh.... Still undecided yet. RM2K is still Ex for me :(
hijakqueen - Thks for your thots bout dslr. SIGH.... my BIL is having Canon 400. But he said no preview as compared to the new 450.
Yup, did some research on 400. The price dropped to RM2 now. Still wwanna see if i can get cheap & good dslr with the same function as canon or not. U hv any idea on tis? I heard Fuji is not bad.
